This is copied and pasted from the FBEP website about a board member: Roy Gingerich, his wife, Arlene, and their family live in Uniontown, Ohio. Roy is a retired school teacher who taught junior high social studies for 31 years. He still works as a substitute teacher. Roy enjoys singing and has sung with the Hartville Singers, Heart and Voice, and Altar of Praise Chorale. He and his family enjoy traveling and visiting historical sites.

It is also of coincidence that a person with the same name and same hometown had this written about them:

A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Roy Gingerich, 80, Uniontown, charged with possessing criminal tools and engaging in prostitution for allegedly requesting sexual conduct from an undercover agent in exchange for $80 and driving to Salem on July 18 for the meeting.

Perhaps you should contact FBEP and ask if this is the same person (asking if a board member has been indicted is a reasonable question). “Gingerich” is a common last name in that area.

I Timothy, an honest question… do you regularly check arrest records or something? I live in that jurisdiction and I am not as up to date as you apparently are with who has been indicted, is going to trial, etc.?

If there was a Roy Gingerich on the board of FBEP that seems to no longer be the case.

I don't see any Roy Gingerich on either list.

A search of the FBEP web site reveals no hits with that name. If there was a Roy Gingerich associated with FBEP he seems to have been purged.

That is a 15-year old newsletter. George Bush was still president when that was published.

1 Timothy? Well, as we see in 1 Timothy 5:24 -
"Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgement; and some men they follow after."

Looks to me like for Mr. Gingerich, they just barely fell into the former category. Average lifespan of a white male in Ohio is 76.9 years.

I think Roy Gingerich went off of the board around 2013 or so.

... this is the only link that is now available with his name on it - I can find a dozen or more newsletters with his name on it, all the way up until he went off the board...

... stuff can be scrubbed - yes, but there's no indication that FBEP scrubbed anything Roy Gingerich related from their website....
