Well, I got side-tracked again as this thread is about Menno not Luther. :oops:
I think one big difference is Luther’s views got him power and he then ordered killing of the enemy (Anabaptists and Catholics) whereas Menno left authority, safely and likely some prestige for a persecuted preacher who never called for the death of others.
