Someone else here is gonna have to answer that. I think they're just outside of Lebanon City. Its only one congregation, last I knew.

I know Hope but not Pilgrim. The main difference I've seen is that some Pilgrim men are sprouting mustaches these days.
Along with a beard I would imagine?
Oh, yes of course. Lone mustaches I assume are still verboten.

Who was the liberal break-away from EPMC?
Lehman Street... maybe.

Just remembered, the Horning church in our area had a division around the same time.

I didn't realize that the PMC/Northeast split was that big. I had it being one congregation :o

I wasn't Conservative Mennonite at the time, but yes, this was a split of the conference, not just one congregation. I am told that after Aaron Shank's passing, the then-Pilgrim Conference bishops Ivan Martin Jr. and Steve Ebersole became unable to work together. Eventually Ivan Martin Jr., most of the ministry, and the more-conservative people left to form Northeastern. Today, Pilgrim Conference is less conservative than Northeastern, though both are in the intermediate-conservative camp.

Didn't Aaron Shank have something to do with starting another conference some years back? Or am I confusing him with another bishop?

I am aware that Ivan Jr. and Big Steve didn't see eye to eye on various subjects.

Aaron had helped start Eastern circa 1970.

Recently (the past year or two) there was a group that left several EPMC congregations and have appealed to Northeast for fellowship. I don't know where that stands at present.
