For prayers ..
while MD has been missing, i've seen nothing more reported in the world on this case.
continuing prayers for each one involved, the child and her mother, family+friends; and all involved legally, including the plaintiff, her supporters, prosecutors, and judge(s) - and for cases following this one. all are in need of prayer.

Ken has been returned to his VA prison without additional sentencing.
It was expected that he would be given several more years for not testifying at Zodhiates' trial.
We consider this a miracle and a result of many prayers.

According to this article, he will be sentenced next year on Jan. 30.

This article is about the charges against Timo Miller, who is in custody but has yet to be tried.

I just saw this, a way to help the Timo Miller family.

The bolded part of the story below was news to me and explains why Timo was held in prison in Nicaragua with no explanation ever given as to why he was being held. It is deeply frustrating and saddening to learn this.

I encourage everyone who is able to give to help support Timo's family during this time.
DESCRIPTION:
Timothy (Timo) D Miller is a missionary who has pastored a church in Managua, Nicaragua for many years. In September, 2009, Timo received a call that would forever change his life (although at the time he didn't realize it would have such an impact.).
MISSION STATEMENT:
History:
The call was from another pastor in the U. S. (Ken Miller) asking him if he could lend a helping hand to a single mother in the U. S. named Lisa Miller. As a pastor, Timo was used to receiving calls to help single mothers and other people in need. So this didn't seem that much different. Ken asked Timo if he would purchase a plane ticket for Lisa and her daughter and then pick them up at the airport in Managua. This seemed to be a simple enough request, and Timo agreed to do so.
In the course of their conversation, Ken explained a little bit about the situation. The mother, Lisa Miller (who is not related to either Ken or Timo) had given birth to a daughter while she was in a same-sex civil union in Vermont. The said civil union only lasted a couple of years and ended on an acrimonious note. When the civil union was dissolved, the Vermont court awarded custody of the daughter to Lisa, the natural mother, and awarded visitation rights to Janet Jenkins, the other woman in the union.
After the dissolution of the civil union, Lisa moved with her daughter back to her home state of Virginia, which did not recognize the validity of the Vermont decree. So Lisa resisted Janet's requests to visit Lisa's daughter, although she did allow some visits. A lengthy legal battle ensued; which was one of the first of its kind, because it involved two women. In the end, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled that the state of Virginia needed to honor the Vermont visitation decree.
In the Vermont family court, Lisa argued that her daughter was being emotionally affected by the visits with Janet. Evidence was presented that Janet had posted pictures of nude women in her home and that she would take baths with the 7-year-old child, which made the child uncomfortable. Lisa asked the court to allow her to be present during the visits with Janet, but the court denied this reasonable request. Lisa felt she was being discriminated against by the family court because of being a Bible-believing Christian.
Exasperated by the U. S. judicial system, Lisa made the decision to travel to Nicaragua - either to live there or to check out the feasibility of living there. Timo picked her up at the airport in Managua, and Lisa lived with Timo and his family for a few months. She eventually moved to another town in Nicaragua. Timo assumed that this was the end of the matter, at least as far as his involvement.
However, in 2010 Timo flew to the U.S. to attend a wedding. To his utter surprise, when he landed in the States, he was immediately arrested at the airport by federal agents. They charged him with aiding and abetting an international parental kidnapping. In accordance with Romans 13, Timo cooperated with the government to the extent his Christian conscience would allow. In exchange for his cooperation, the government agreed not to prosecute him. The government took Timo's deposition, which they videotaped, and then allowed him to return to his home in Nicaragua.
Timo was supposed to appear as a witness at the trial of Ken Miller. However, Timo's wife was due to give birth at the same time as the trial, and she was having serious medical complications with her pregnancy. Timo asked the government if they could delay Ken's trial until after the birth. However, the judge was unwilling to do so. So the trial proceeded without Timo's appearance. Instead, his video-taped deposition was played at the trial. In the end, it made no difference, as Ken Miller was found guilty anyway.
Once again, Timo thought this was the end of the matter, at least, as far as his involvement.
However, to his surprise, in 2015, the federal government filed conspiracy to commit parental kidnapping charges against Timo in Buffalo, New York. The trial date was set for September, 2016. Through his attorney, Timo argued that he had fulfilled his agreement with the government and was therefore immune from prosecution.
While Timo was waiting for a ruling on the validity of his original agreement with the government, he was suddenly whisked off of his bicycle in the streets of Managua by plainclothesmen. He was driven away in an unmarked car, and for several days nobody knew who had taken him. Both the U. S. government and Interpol denied any involvement. However, despite their denials, it was eventually revealed that the U. S. had used Interpol to arrest Timo under the false charges of producing child pornography and running a prostitution ring.
Timo spent nearly two months in inhuman conditions in a notorious Nicaraguan prison under these patently false charges.
Later Timo was taken to the U. S. For almost two weeks, Timo was held incommunicado from his family and friends in various U. S prisons. He is now being held at a federal prison near Buffalo.
Help Needed
Timo and his family need both your prayers and financial support. Timo has been unable to work and support his wife Joanna and their five children for over two months. Timo has also incurred legal fees both in Nicaragua and here in the U. S. He presently faces the possibility of a prison sentence. It will be necessary to move Timo's wife and family back to the U.S., and they will need financial assistance until Timo is able to work again. Timo and his family desire to rest in God's will first and foremost in their lives and submit to further suffering if it is necessary. They pray for every person involved in this sad situation and are grateful for the prayers and interest of so many who love them.

i'm happy they found www.continuetogive.com
i've read, this (faith-based) site has lower costs and better terms for those in need (than other sites.) but i do not know a lot about it.

interesting that it's a .com site, not .org.
i'm sure there are reasons.

i wish i could not believe the U.S. has fallen so low as this report describes.
people lose their way when relying on human law and human reasoning, alone.

continuing prayers.

Most are more familiar with .coms. Same reason why we used it for MennoNet.
