i've read, this (faith-based) site has lower costs and better terms for those in need (than other sites.) but i do not know a lot about it.

interesting that it's a .com site, not .org.
i'm sure there are reasons.

i wish i could not believe the U.S. has fallen so low as this report describes.
people lose their way when relying on human law and human reasoning, alone.

continuing prayers.
A friend of mine has contact with Timo's church in Nicaragua and confirmed that this information is correct, and that the continuetogive.com website is a good way to donate.

I think it was just one of many he was in briefly while he was being shuffled around in relation to his being called to testify in Timo's case.

Message from Pablo Yoder on Timo Miller. Timo is being held in OH during his pending legal situation. Apparently he can receive mail here, and I'm passing this along here in case anyone would want to take the time to send him words of encouragement. I haven't written these men personally but I think they would appreciate hearing from those of us who are supporting them.

Ken is back in FCC Petersburg Low and I am sure would also appreciate letters.
Dear brethren,

I just got a little update on Timo from Joey. As a family they were finally able to see Timo yesterday. But this time the visit was through glass.

As a prayer request, Timo has not been feeling good. There is something wrong with his stomach, and he has not been able to get over it. They promised to have him checked within two weeks, and they are almost up and they still haven't taken care of it. This has been hard on Timo emotionally and physically.

Also, Timo seems to be very lonely. It was hard for him to say goodbye to the family this time. He also explained to Joey that he could be getting mail in this prison. So Joey wanted me to share this address in case some of you would feel led to write him a couple of words of encouragement.

Timothy Miller 78268083
North East Ohio Correctional Center
2240 Hubbard Rd.
Youngstown, OH 44505

Please, no stickers, staples, tape or any extras... just a simple envelope and your letter.

Thanks so much for your prayers!

Pablo

o. dear merciful Jesus, please send Your Holy Spirit, Your Advocate, Your Comforter, to each of those hurt; those in captivity, those left behind, those with responsibility of restraining and judging. in Your Blessed Name, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

With Trump's election there will be a new Attorney General.
Under the Obama administration, Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch dedicated Justice Department resources to areas such as civil liberties, voting rights, same-sex marriage, environmental and consumer protection.

Elections have consequences, however, and President-elect Donald Trump's pick to lead the Justice Department, Jeff Sessions, has a new mandate.
http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/18/politics/ ... index.html

Incredible federal government resources have been devoted to the Lisa Miller case and the prosecution of Timo Miller, Ken Miller, and Philip Zhodiates. One can not help but wonder how much the new AG will shift resources away from the priorities of the previous AGs under Obama.
Resources aren't endless, and as head of the department, Sessions will have to consider where to devote his. Under the Obama administration, for example, DOJ brought a lawsuit challenging Arizona's controversial immigration law. Its lawyers also fought back hard against a lawsuit brought by states challenging the President's executive orders on immigration. And in the area of gay rights, the administration chose not to defend the Defense of Marriage Act in 2011, a federal law that defined marriage as between a man and a woman.

"The average American may have a hard time seeing how shifts in enforcement priorities within the Justice Department affect their daily lives, but the impact can be substantial," said Steve Vladeck, CNN legal contributor and professor at the University of Texas School of Law.

"Whether it's in how much (or how little) to enforce anti-discrimination laws against local governments or private employers, how aggressively to enforce (or not enforce) drug laws, or taking a different position on the relationship between the federal government and the states with respect to immigration, the environment and other hot-button topics, how resources are allocated has potentially monumental substantive policy implications," Vladeck added.

The left and LGBTQQIA+ lobby is panicking about Sessions as AG; he not only has an anti-gay marriage record, but the left decries him as generally "homophobic" and "anti-gay".

Nothing is set in stone yet, but as I have been saying, it is best to wait on God and allow God to enact justice and vengeance on men, whether in this life or at the resurrection to judgment. Kings may think they make their own rules, but their heart is like channels of water that God diverts to wherever he wishes.

it's unknown what's ahead, there will be twists, it's early to count on anything .. continuing prayers.

meanwhile, in Oregon, it may be less likely a case like that against the Klein's bakery will occur (?)
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/liber ... -398997117

signs are that Trump intends to be fair toward homosexuals, but likely not "specially" fair?
how this will affect our everydays, and court rulings, remains to be seen.

fwiw, personally - :-|
i would like to see all federally protected classes eliminated, with the possible exception of the disabled; possibly the-least-noisy of any group named in those "classes."

ideally, the courts would be fair to citizenry, not allowing certain self-designated groups to use the justice system to weild unbalanced power against others. in the past, there have been cases where judges were able to recognize attempts at "misuse/abuse" of the courts; in their rulings, they made it "plainly" clear, this is not the function of the courts. so. we will see.
