Writings of the Swiss Brethren

Post by Paul »

I'd like to read up on the Swiss Brethren, especially their spiritual convictions are quite intriguing to me. In many ways they seemed to be more faithful to Sola Scriptura than the reformers were (especially in point of baptism), and more zealous and dedicated to actually live out their faith and spend their lives in service to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone here can recommend any writings of the Swiss Brethren on their spiritual convictions, maybe something that really shows the importance and radicality of following Christ no matter what the cost. Suggestions on later writings on this topic by Anabaptists are welcome aswell by the way, I remember reading a sermon by (I think it was) Christian Burkholder not too long ago and even though I forgot the exact topic I really enjoyed the zeal for the Lord that was evident in his writing.
