No, Baptists have fonts in their churches, sometimes they are under the platform or off to one side with a window opening. Like small swimming pools, kind of, so that they are deep enough to dunk in. They refer to them as a "baptistry".

Actually, I was talking about the typographic font here.

I agree, Georgia is a nice font. Not just because it sounds like George, but this time of the year it's like a sunbeam of spring to those of us in the Frozen North.

Courier will be useful for those times a nonproportional font is needed, such as tables of statistics.

Comic Sans, though, really?

The font command calls for a font type. If that font type is not on the user's computer, it will default to to browser standard. You can also add a , and a second font type behind that to make sure you get closer. "font=Times New Roman, serif" Should use times roman and if it is not on the user's computer, it will default to the default serif font.

Most computers have some normal default fonts, but when you go to a different operating system (linux, Mac) the name often changes and this will not work well unless you find the name on that system and add the name separated by a comma from the Windows name.

I have done some websites where I used unique font. I had to have a copy on the website and tell the browser to use it. This way whoever visited saw that font even if not loaded onto their system. Not easy to do that with the forum. Could be done, but it would take a small amount of effort and I am too lazy to do that.

Yep! 75 degrees here today compared to 18 last Sunday. If you don't like the weather wait for a few days...
