Surely someone could expand their expertise from moats to canals and work on mouths, not just eyes.

If it's big enough for a motorboat, it's a boater moat. If it's smaller, it's a moatette and you can sing it as part of the liturgy.

At the top of the page, next to the Post Reply button, there's a wrench icon with a drop-down menu; one of the choices is Subscribe topic. If it says Unsubscribe, you have (perhaps unintentionally) signed up for notifications from the thread, and clicking on Unsubscribe should stop them.

If that's not the cause, I have no idea. But it does give me an idea if I actually do want to be hostile sometime.
