Statistics update at 90,000 posts:

215 people have posted at least twice, the Welcome thread and one other post (up 3)
145 people have 10 or more posts (up 4)
78 people have 100 or more posts (up 4)
36 people have 500 or more posts (up 3)
27 people have 1000 or more posts (up 2)
13 people have 2000 or more posts (up 3)
1 person each in the 3000, 4000, 5000, 7000, and 8000 post range.
The top 10 posters account for 48% of the posts on the board (down 2%)

At 92 posts per day (remarkably steady for the last 30,000 posts), we should be planning the 100k party for the last week of September.

I wrote this a bit snarkily during the Egyptian season, which has since subsided, but here we are anyway.
Apparently the rest of us picked up the slack (mostly in the Politics section, I suspect). 119 posts per day is the fastest rate we've had yet.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

[Repeated from the 100,000 post thread to get the info into the milestones thread for posterity] :)

It took us just a bit less than 47 months to get to 100,000 posts. Not bad (although about half the rate of MennoDiscuss in its prime if I recall). Honorable mention for Donald J. Trump and COVID-19 and CAM for helping keep the post-fires burning of late.

100K Posts Stats
2,127 posts per month in MennoNet's 47 month history
About 70 posts per day or nearly 3 per hour since its beginning
106 posts per day during the last three months since 90,000 posts (up from 92 post per day at 90,000 posts).
221 people have posted at least twice, the Welcome thread and one other post (up 16 since 90,000 posts)
152 people have 10 or more posts (up 7)
81 people have 100 or more posts (up 3)
39 people have 500 or more posts (up 3)
28 people have 1000 or more posts (up 1)
15 people have 2000 or more posts (up 2)
7 people have 3000 or more posts (up 2)
One each in the 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000, and 9000 post range.
The top 10 posters account for 48% of the posts on the board (no change)

But wait. There's more. Not only do you get a Parallel Bible, but with 2500 posts, we will sent to you absolutely free this seven piece Ginsu knife set.
I don't think the founding fathers of MD anticipated the 5-digit threshold, so we are stuck with repeating the selection. Josh: Would you like 10 toasters, 4 Bibles, or 28 knives?
