I don't think the founding fathers of MD anticipated the 5-digit threshold, so we are stuck with repeating the selection.

Would you like 10 toasters, 4 Bibles, or 28 knives?
Congratulations, Josh. :blah: :D

4 Bibles, obviously, I wouldn’t want that many knives (sounds like weapons) and on a low carb diet I don’t make toast.

With the politics threads being closed, I’m disappointed to think the #2 poster has no chance of passing me up again which did briefly happen.

When considering milestones, what about threads with the most pages? Do we have a list of the top ten lengthiest thread topics by pages? Or posts?
Coronavirus Outbreak: 366 pages
Global Warning - Climate Change: 127 pages.

The now two-year-old CAM thread was up over 100 pages, IIRC.

I almost missed it too, but this was the 10k milestone post, precisely at noon.

I missed that too. Was something supposed to happen? Was my computer supposed to explode, or was I supposed to ascend into heaven, or ... what should we expect when we cross that 10K boundary? Josh, can you reveal the secrets?

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?

OJ, I noticed this once before that in my 'notifications' area it told me that I just received a reply and in this case it reads the reply came from both you and Bootstrap. Is this some kind of glitch in the system ?

Since you hadn't previously posted in this thread or the one I quoted from, it does appear to be a glitch.

125,000 posts have come and gone - it took about 10 months to add 25,000 posts (a 2,500 post-per-month pace - slightly faster than historic average).
