not wanting to post in politics category, just having read this: :)

i did not follow BG, i know he had many followers over his lifetime, and he had quite a lot of influence. i have read or listened to occasional words he shared. i see his son has a ministry. i don’t know but little about it. prayers for loved ones he leaves behind.

I'm requesting prayers for a sister in Christ named Angelina. She had the flu about a month ago, but has had several complications, and her health is very fragile right now. Please pray for her and her family; she still has young children at home.

My cousin's 24 year old grandson was killed in what was called a bizarre accident. He was parked on the side of a gravel road with a pickup truck and trailer, loading or unloading some construction equipment. An approaching car failed to stop and went up the ramps, hit the young man and then continued airborne for some distance. I believe marriage plans were underway - his fiancee, Janelle could use our prayers.

A 9 year old boy from a family that is part of our local congregation is being flown to Vancouver for surgery as they found he has a tumor. He has been struggling with headaches for months. :pray

Someone I would consider an unbeliever came into my office yesterday. I hadn't seen him since November; in an email he had said he was having health issues. He had sinus issues for some time and finally a doctor took him seriously enough to do some investigations. He has stage 3 or 4 cancer - he seems to be accepting it very well but I need wisdom to know how to talk with him gently enough to point him to the Saviour.

Hats Off and Wade we'll keep your requests covered in prayer.

Hats, I found if I get the person talking a little about how they're feeling over a dessert and coffee it sometimes opens a door.

i read of a death over the weekend of a man, 65, who was well-known in the area.
he was a friend of a friend, he did some (good) work on my house.
i’m afraid of how it happened. he was alone and at home. in time, i’m bound to hear something.
i’m not wanting to know.
