Not as big as T1, since I know that it was her who caused the demise of MD just so she could out post me in a new forum...

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

Can't reply on the initial introduction thread. But welcome BootStrap. I chuckled at function you included. You should make that your signature. It really fits you!
I'm glad someone found it funny. I wasn't sure what verifying an intent meant, so I decided to find out ;->

For me, it's a "funny once". I may get a signature eventually.

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?

So I think I have figured out why some folks can post in the welcome topic and some can't. I think it has to do with the usergroup that they belong to. There's a "newly registered user" and a "registered user" group. I believe if you're under the newly registered group the only place you can post is the welcome topic, but once you get switched to registered user you have access to the rest of the forum but not the welcome topic anymore.

Correct. That is the second step of the validation process.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

#5 is turning 8 this week. Time flies! It is great to "see" you here t1. It is great to see some other familiar names here as well.
