Hello, Everyone

Post by Mrs.Nisly »

It has been literally months since I have checked into Mennonet.

I have been ridiculously busy teaching part time, being a wife and mom, and pursuing other interests.

I also had a very intense fall and early winter preparing to speak, along with another lady in our church, at a ladies retreat in Illinois.
Now that is over, and I actually had the whole day off today, and I happened to think of mennonet and decide to stop by.

It looks like some interesting discussions are going on, and who knows I might get sucked into making comments on them.... :D

Hello, welcome back - :D
be careful what you get sucked into, there are consequences! :P

i had to check in with you.
i received the nicest words about you several weeks ago, from Knight.
i want to pass it along to you.
he is a fan of your writing (as many of us here are.)

he’s observing Lent, not on the computer for awhile.
we’re not in close contact. i hear from him once or twice yearly. big treat for me.
i made sure he knows your new username. he reads MN, i don’t know how often.
take care.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

I'd love to hear from him! I've wondered how he is doing, and where he is on his journey. Tell him he needs to come in here and talk to us. :)

The old woodcutter spoke again. “It is impossible to talk with you. You always draw conclusions. Life is so vast, yet you judge all of life with one page or one word. You see only a fragment. Unless you know the whole story, how can you judge?"
