I can not always figure out who is real and not, so I figure if they signed up and have not tried to do the second step, they are either a spam account, or not interested, so I clear them out. Would it be possible to have more than a few minutes to edit a post? Sometimes it's nice to add something or fix a spelling mistake or what not.

Not long enough.
