Click bait to generate ad views.

But I clicked and see that Washington has you beat at #7.

#1 is Texas because they do the whole Texas Rangers thing. The least sexiest down at #50 is North Dakota.

Fun fact. When we moved to Waco Texas in 2003 we noticed that there is a huge Texas Rangers Hall of Fame and museum in downtown Waco along the Brazos River waterfront. https://www.texasranger.org/ When my wife saw the museum and sign for the first time she asked me: "Why do the Rangers have their own museum? They aren't any good and they aren't from here anyway". I had to explain that the baseball team is named after the famous Texas state police called the Texas Rangers and that the museum is no doubt about the police rangers, not the baseball rangers. But I never went inside so who knows.

Another little piece of trivia: The state police are one of the few law enforcement agencies that do not display a badge on their uniforms, but they do wear neck ties.

Surely the men pictured aren't the ones so indicated? Is this early 20th Century, or what? :D But hopefully the uniforms are comfortable.

The state police are still really strict on trooper appearances, even though other departments got lax due to recruitment issues. No facial hair, no visible tattoos, hat must be worn at certain times, when wearing a hat, the strap must be either in the front or back, depending on the time of year.
