I worked there as a teenager. Lots of memories.

That's rough. Martin's Country Market's parent company is one of my vendors. I was just in that store a few weeks ago when in the area.

Now that you mention it, it would be a vendor to us, too.

Yeah, it's quite a fire. That whole strip including the furniture store is still burning.
My brother's station which is 25 mins away just had a tanker get called out to help with it at 7 this morning and that's 3 hours after it started.
It'll be awhile yet till it all clears up I'm sure.

I'm watching the dispatch log and they've been pulling units from Berks and Lebanon Counties, either for the fire or station transfers.

My delivery driver from JFM counted over 80 units present this morning.

Sounds like Martin Appliance went with it. They shared the building.

I believe it. They're having the same issues as the Weaver Nut fire: Can't get enough water.

There is a firewall between the two businesses, and the firefighters were fighting from that side on the inside. But at one point it was believed that wall was not sustainable, and now the firefighters are only fighting from the outside. So sad for everyone.

I had heard that. There are a handful of my fellow coworkers that also worked there "back in the day." Plus Martin's is a customer of my current employer. We're all watching it close.
