Elon Musk. Twitter. Babylon Bee.

Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

A bully pulpit is a conspicuous position that provides an opportunity to speak out and be listened to.

This term was coined by United States President Theodore Roosevelt, who referred to his office as a "bully pulpit", by which he meant a terrific platform from which to advocate an agenda. Roosevelt used the word bully as an adjective meaning "superb" or "wonderful", a more common usage at that time.[1][2]
How did that work out for Trump?

He got exactly one major thing through Congress. His tax cuts for the ultra-rich and corporations. And that was because the whole GOP Congressional delegation was behind it anyway. They would have done it with or without him.

On his key signature issue, building the wall. He threw a conniption fit when the GOP-lead Senate refused to add wall funding to the budget in 2018 and even shut down his own government. Which didn't work. He ended up caving instead of trying to negotiate a deal.

Do you think he will have better luck in 2025 as an instant lame duck with all manner of Senators from both parties gearing up for a run in 2028?

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

Thanks for adding this.
“Weak makes right?” - As i witness the response to Israel-Gaza, i’ve had this very question.

Not Jesus’ teaching.
