Gender confusion

Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

The idea that a boyfriend can get pregnant by a boyfriend... What has this world come to?
What would George Orwell say?
Tell me
I think he'd be shocked and might have just rolled over in his grave.

Resistance is futile.

You must deny what you know to be the truth and confess the falsehood. Give your whole inner self over to the party.

Totalitarianism.

I suppose we are now suppose to accept this "man" as a dog.

Saw something recently. A very overweight woman claimed she was slim. She calls herself "trans-slender"

Costa Coffee has defended its decision to include a transgender person with mastectomy scars in a cartoon mural on one of its vans.

The UK’s largest coffee chain was accused on Monday of glamourising “complex and dangerous surgery” after a photograph of the branding was shared on social media.

So now there is talk about the possibility of transgender women (biological males) receiving government subsidized uterus implants to help consolidate their identities. This was published in the AMA Journal of Ethics.

Craziness!!
Abstract
Success in uterus transplantation (UTx) among ciswomen suggests that
transwomen and some transmen will also likely have interest in this
intervention. It does not seem likely, however, that all parties interested
in UTx will have the same standing when it comes to federal subsidies or
insurance coverage benefits. This analysis describes the comparative
moral strength of claims for financial support for UTx that different
parties might make
Among those likely to be interested in UTx
are transwomen who want to gestate their own children, transwomen who want uterus
transplants to consolidate their identities but not to gestate children

Current recommendations with “real females” is to remove the uterus following birth to avoid life long medication… I certainly know a trans could want to birth young but it would have to be c-section with more risks and complications then you could shake a stick at. We hardly understand the hormonal regulation during pregnancy and this would require abortion just to make it possible. Not only are you killing fertilized eggs, but you are putting a potential child in serious health risks all for a delusion.
Transplanting a uterus is certainly within our reach, but normal birth? Not a chance.

They want a uterus? Grow it from their own cells…
