The smog over where we live actually made temperatures lower. Of course, this is technically “man made climate change” - a man (or in this case, a woman) intentionally set all those forest fires.

So then the answer to global warming is smoke?

The smoke certainly provided some shielding against the effects of the solar maximum which we are experiencing. For further information, search for solar maximum/solar minimum cycles.

i believe this is discussed a bit more earlier in this thread.
i believe the point about hazards of cold (or absence of heat) is correct.
What is the absence of heat called?
Always! .. This makes a lot of sense because remember, cold is just the absence of heat.

They’re itchin’ for it, with TRILLIONS in spending, no limits on propaganda to get people to vote for it.
Convincing people to vote for their own demise is ‘way more efficient than use of force, which gets so messy.

Possibly, JUDITH CURRY has been presented in this topic.
This might be a repeat or addition. She makes a number of valid points; in more general terms, THOMAS SOWELL came to similar conclusions about “how things work” in academia, “science,” gov funding .. i.e., distortions for profit and convenience. Egos.

OPINION: Judith Curry: How Climate “Science” Got Hijacked by Alarmists / 7min

Georgia Institute of Tecnology
https://curry.eas.gatech.edu/

Considering the recent/current COVID “science” .. the budget+plans surrounding CLIMATE TRANSFER OF WEALTH is many times greater-than, COVID was merely practice. [It could fairly be labeled, CLIMATE TRANSFER OF WEALTH.] imho

imho, TRILLIONS in spending is ample guarantee of lack of accountability by the incompetent+corrupt.
TRILLIONS is a euphemism for “no moral or practical boundaries.”

Speaking of “science” rock stars, listening to J Curry, i kept thinking of still young Miss Greta Thunberg.
Plenty of time for her to do an about-face, too.

^^ J Curry described her own rock star status (conditional, as long as she touted the assigned script) - disagree, the status changes to science denier, and much worse. A quick search of her name reflects her claims.

No different from COVID. Same game plan.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.
