I wanted to take a nap yesterday afternoon. I often turn on boring documentaries and fall asleep while watching. I turned this one on hoping for a nice rest. On the contrary, I could not sleep at all during or even afterwards. I am now switching to Firefox browser. I already use DuckDuckGo for searches.
Here is some do the premise of the documentary. This is a 12 minute presentation Dr Epstein presented. There is a LOT of research behind what he shares. My biggest issue is what he is highlighting in this clip. There are other things going on too. He has longer presentations of one chooses to watch. If nothing else, be aware that we are being manipulated.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

This guy was Hillary supporter also. He is placing integrity and transparency over politics. I really respect that.

altho, considering the content of his presentation, it’s hard for me to imagine how he could.
i like his presentation style. he makes good use of space.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

Yeah if he wants his message to get out he will need to hire a presenter.temporal1 wrote:admirable.Robert wrote:This guy was Hillary supporter also. He is placing integrity and transparency over politics.

I think int he clip he mentions his research paper on this is one of the top ten research papers downloaded to date. His message is getting out. I think this is what was behind some of the congressional questioning that I did not understand at the time, but in hindsight understand it now.appleman2006 wrote:Yeah if he wants his message to get out he will need to hire a presenter.

Re: The Creepy Line
In general there is a quiet and not so quiet rebellion happening among academics. This one and Jordan Peterson are in the public view more. Faculties are tired of being forced to sacrifice their academic freedom for the politically correct au courant fad of what is deemed right and what is wrong. Academic freedom is designed to allow researchers and profs to explore the paradoxes as well as the paradigms that are at the foundation of human thinking. Obviously academic freedom is an ideal that is often illusive.Robert wrote:I think in the clip he mentions his research paper on this is one of the top ten research papers downloaded to date. I do find it admirable that Google owns YouTube and are leaving these videos up and accessible. Now, if they would just leave PragerU alone ...
