The new year 2019 is off to a rough start in human reasoning. Or, lack thereof.
Too many examples to attempt to list.

Here’s a proposed Illinois law to mull over. :-|

“Parental Bullying Bill: "It takes some of the control away from the parent" “
http://newschannel20.com/news/local/new ... w-proposed
.. If the bill were to become law and a parent was found guilty, the bill says, “If a person is convicted of parental bullying, the court shall order that person to pay for the costs of prosecution and that a portion of any fine imposed, as determined by the court, be placed in escrow for the purchase of a certificate of deposit for use by the victim when he or she attains 18 years of age.”

Which means that if found guilty, the parent must put money into an account for the victim to receive when they turn 18.“
Coincidentally, a few weeks ago, the mayor and chief of police of Chicago were IMPLORING parents to “do their jobs, and PARENT!” claiming police “can’t do everything!”

No. really. you cannot make this stuff up.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.
