Frankly the UN should be focusing on reducing the factors that cause people to want to migrate.
So many countries that generate mass numbers of migrants, like Venezuela, are full UN members. The UN should be kicking then in the butt to improve their living conditions, and helping them it, so not so many people are desperate to leave.

The IOM promotes migration. $7.9bn given to the IOM means a lot more migration, not less.
