I guess that means my copy just devalued by $300 or so.

This link goes to the LMHS, but no mention of the book. I was actually considering getting one at the inflated price! How did you order this book?

I heard it was coming back in print which is why I sold mine a year ago. Now I can get a new copy. It won't ever be the original edition though.

Your edition might appreciate in value a hundred years from now when your heirs sell the book.

I just sold mine for $600 Canadian less ebay and postage so about $500 Canadian after costs. I don't think having the original edition is worth that much to me.

You can be glad. Amazon price is now $125. I'm guessing a bunch of people are trying to sell quick before theirs is worth $75.

I almost feel guilty, he barely had the book before he could have bought new. My gain is his loss unless first edition means something to him.

One party on Amazon still has one for sale for $10,099.00. They may be waiting a few centuries till they get their asking price.
