Free Book Ministries - Online Resources

Post by MaxPC »

From this thread:

Finding free books online seems to me an excellent way to reach folks with the Christian message and encouragements in discipleship.

With that in mind, what resource links provide free Christian books that can be downloaded or read online?

I would like to add that people distributing free books often have an agenda.

I'm just saying that reading a lot of freely-available recently published books will bias your viewpoints, and I think that's a good thing to be aware of.

Libraries, whether public, church, or university, are a good resource to avoid this.

Lots of good sources for old classics, e.g. http://www.ccel.org. I often just search for old classics on archive.org.

Lots of sources for stuff in original languages, too, if anyone is interested.

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?

How is that different from reading anything else?

Take the debating/arguments and negativity to the bunny trail. This thread is for listing free resources.
