Same speakers as always. I am too busy teaching school.

Mr. Bercot holding forth with the polyorigin theory of Anabaptism. I would love to hear how he gets there. I can find no evidence of continuity between the Zurich brethren and prior movements. If anything, they are a continuity of Carlstat.

This is an exciting slate of topics; quite relevant too, Elmer. Will there be recordings?

He's a well-known speaker in the conservative Anabaptist world, particularly in the non-affiliated churches. As he's not an ordained minister, and parted ways with a conservative Mennonite conference years ago, the conference churches generally don't invite him. Some of his talks are on YouTube.

Was he never ordained at Shippenseburg? Or did he move on from there?

No, he wasn't. He's still there, and with one or two others has for many years been considered a teaching elder or something similar. At Shippensburg, laypersons routinely teach and preach, and titles and position don't mean quite as much as they do in most conservative Mennonite churches. Which in my opinion is how it should be.
