probably 10 years ago, i got a "free" Samsung Convoy phone. i chose it because it was supposed to be more rugged, and easier to use+read. i planned to be outside in the garden, thot that would be best. it's held up fine. most of my calls are with family.
i probably had a Nokia 3310 .. it looks familiar. i don't exactly recall.
my guess is, the Samsung Convoy is probably a lot like the 3310.
strange-to-me, i see new models of the Convoy priced from $20-200.
Verizon offers one for $8/mo for 24 months! pricey.
i'm not sure if the new models would hold up as well as this original has.

my original doesn't have all the bells+whistles the newer models have.
i don't use the ones i have, so, don't need more.
funny.
the early model was advertised, in part, as better for "older" folks.
i guess that marketing strategy didn't pay off as well as the military-theme.
now, if they would just bring back cassettes and Walkmans.
