Amish Technology

Unlike modern software, Amish technology works. In the last 2 weeks, my analytics software, email for a new domain, DMARC, and the USPS API all broke for me. I envy the Amish.

Kind of neat. Yesterday I toured a 100 year old water powered woolen mill. They also had a long shaft the inside like this Amish has, the length of the mill, with all their equipment attached to the shaft with belts.
The Amish just use a diesel motor instead of water power.
