Any G4 familiar folk out there? Curious any tips to slow battery drain. I suspect I could ditch the Facebook app and just access it through Chrome, but it's just so handy.

I don't have that phone. Things that help with battery drain on my phone:

- Reduce screen brightness
- Check out Settings > Battery to see what is draining your battery
- Reduce polling. Check for email / Twitter / Facebook updates manually instead of automatically
- Turn off hardware you aren't using - Bluetooth, FM radio, etc.
- Don't run many apps in the background
- Get rid of widgets and wallpaper

If all else fails, you can buy a battery case or larger extended battery.

Have you checked to see if your wi-Fi is on?

Also, some apps like to follow your gps signal. I have two that do that unless I turn the automatic gps finder off in the app. One is a campground finder and a map app.
