Tech giants, media, admit lib bias.

Where we talk about modern advancements like the abacus and printing press.

Tech giants, media, admit lib bias.

Post by temporal1 »

This morning, i was surprised to read:

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey: Platform Was ‘Probably Way Too Aggressive’ in Banning Conservatives
https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2019/03/ ... ervatives/
.. During a recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated that the social media platform was “probably way too aggressive” in banning conservatives
There has been lots of discussion on this general topic, unfair, inaccurate, unbalanced lib bias in tech and media, admissions of wrong doing are not yet common, but .. ?? Will there be more to come?

FB’s Zuckerberg admitted bias to Congress in his Silicon Valley based business.
Not sure if anything is being done to mitigate damages or not. Honestly, it’s hard for me to tell.

Now this from Twitter. :-|

In my view, plenty of room for more.

What will come of Nick Sandmann’s 50+ lawsuits?
i read, WA PO printed a brief admission of wrong doing regarding NS, i didn’t read their words.

This thread is a place to note when TECH GIANTS and MEDIA actually admit lib bias.
“From the horses’ mouths.”

Admitting there is a problem is THE FIRST STEP to getting to a better place.

On this forum, Robert, Josh, appleman, ragpicker, Honduras Keiser, others, have consistently spoken frankly about the lack of balance that’s (plagued) “news” reporting. Facts are facts.

i agree, certainly, there is no INHERENT good side when it comes to politics. 100%.
however, there has been, over decades, growing IMBALANCE in (propaganda platforms) - that is a problem, CONSUMERS have every reason to reject+complain, to expect better.

after all, the tech industry, news+entertainment industries, are for-profit.
there are examples of gov funds involved, too, and, certainly, they-all want the protection of gov mandates to continue in their highly lucrative businesses.

consumers, taxpayers, citizens, are factors. not just idle recipients of their benevolence.

i do not twitter. still, twitter affects the world we all live in.
