I really hope some of the people who posted regularly right up until the outage, but who aren't posting now, come back. i'm happy they found http://www.continuetogive.com i've read, this (faith-based) site has lower costs and better terms for those in need (than other sites.) but i do not know a lot about it. interesting that it's a .com site, not .org. i'm sure there are reasons. i wish i could not believe the U.S....

Whether the appointment is for life or not, how are the candidates for ordination selected? Election may still be used. Even in the event of use of the lot are not the candidates selected by some sense of the voice of the congregation? More to the point is what system of accountability is in effect...
