I don't know what proportions, I really haven't studied their budget, I'm just trying to help refugees settle in. This page...

Re: Peacemaking after the Election

That sounds like hype to me. yes. you thoroughly enjoy your own personal opinions. :D I really do think you were painting dramatic scenarios that are unlikely to occur. What exactly do you think hype is? I think hype is about claims that go beyond reality, bringing in drama and emotion. As far as I...

Re: Refugees

I would enjoy seeing this happen in our area. Keep us posted on how it goes. I looked at that organizational website for the umbrella corporation and they seem to have a very large board of administration . I wonder how much money these people receive in salary? It's pretty easy to look up expense ...

I love that, it's usually quick to read and gives most of the relevant cultural information you really need to know.

They have organizations like this all over the country, and they are quietly helping resettle refugees. Most of them are faith based. We did an orientation about six weeks ago and are forming a group now.

Re: Peacemaking after the Election

What i meant with "the new normal," in response to Robert's words above (i used a :?: to point out) .. was, i question, now with 24-7 hype-(not news ) whether folks will be allowed to return to their everyday lives-work-school? when so many, instead, commit all that time to destruction, r...

Working with Refugees

My wife and I have recently become involved with this group together with other members of our church:

Please pray that we will continue to be able to serve refugees under the new administration.
