Re: Church good at evangelization
Interesting how you listed 3 gigantic corporations for your example. Why do you find that interesting? Well over half of all jobs in the US are for corporate or public sector employers. Wal-Mart alone employs more than 1.5 million people. You may not like that but it is the reality. And the percent...

Re: Church good at evangelization
Our church strongly encouraged sharing the Gospel- we have to keep in mind that God cares about these souls more than we do- He is involved in the process! Thanks for the bible word. Sounds like a nice church of yours, that encouraged sharing the Gospel. Also want to be in a church like that. My “l...

Thank you Steve!steve-in-kville wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 8:30 am I don't like conflict. Be it at work, at home, with family, or on the web. I value most everyone on MN. We may banter like siblings, but all in all, we have a good crows crowd.
We all are in need of forgiveness.

Re: Asking Forgiveness
This morning I woke with inner turmoil and conviction for arguing with a few of you on the forum Matthew 5 Jesus teaches before bringing your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, to leave your gift and go your way and be reconciled to your brother. I'm ...

Re: Asking Forgiveness
Valerie, I think we all have our struggles with the 'flesh' and likely will continue to until we get home. I know there are those who believe we can reach a state of total sanctification and the fleshly nature in me thinks I would like to spend a day with them and push their buttons to unravel them...

Re: Do Plain Catholics exist?
The Holy Spirit guides the Church. Constantine was not the Holy Spirit, but it is certainly he who "guided" the so-called church in the First Council of Nicaea forcing the inclusion of language borrowed from pagan philosophy and influencing many of the the bishops to sign the creed agains...

Re: Do Plain Catholics exist?
Teach=Proselytize. Enough said. Because like other Protestants, you assume wrongly by misunderstanding or blaming Constantine for this & that when things were from those taught by Apostles. A wise person will try to understand things they clearly don't. Best to stick with milk. There is nothing...

Re: Do Plain Catholics exist?
Did I tell a lie?? I’m calling you a hypocrite. I disagree with your version of history but I doubt you believe it’s lie, it’s just how you see it. You are calling for me to say nice things about Catholics right after saying mean things I believe are not true about Anabaptists and me responding by ...
