Re: What advice would you give the Catholic Bishops?

I think 1 Tim 5:19 - 21 pertains to this situation>>> [bible]1tim 5,19-21[/bible] 1. Make sure that the charge is bonifide 2. If the charge is genuine, then make sure that the guilty person is disciplined in public 3. Avoid any partiality of any sort. This passage is written to a church leader about...

Re: Proverbs 16:10 (D-R translation)

Re: Today ...

I watched a live debate between Michael Scherer and Frank Tureck tonight on whether theism or atheism was the best explanation for reality.

So is the title the question, or the poll?

The surest way to make someone antagonistic is to embarrass them publicly.

Re: Communion: Open, Close, Closed --- Poll

So you can weep and howl and consign us to hell fire all you please, but it isn't going to avail anything. We can't let someone who doesn't understand or appreciate us destroy us just because they want to participate in communion. Hmmm, if my objection to closed communion is that it fails to recogn...

Re: Communion: Open, Close, Closed --- Poll

This is a hard one to argue from the Bible. The Bible doesn't talk about membership in a local church, distinct beliefs among Christian denominations, etc. Basically, all true Christians in an area would commune together. Correct. The Bible talks about one church with one body with one communion , ...
