Re: Natural (God given) immunity is superior

I repeat that I do not judge you or others for your choice to take the vaccine. I hope that you can be a light to these doctors and nurses that are caring for you and that perhaps if God has mercy, grant you a lengthening of your time. Thank you brother, that means a lot to me. I want peace with al...

Re: Natural (God given) immunity is superior

Jeremiah 1:(5) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, Luke 1:15 - and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. It looks like the Bible recognizes that life begins at conception, or even before you ar...

Re: Lyme Disease

Personally I hate taking antibiotics for a month, but it seems to be the best treatment now. There used to be a Lyme disease vaccine for people. It wasn’t popular and went off the market. It still exists but is given to dogs! It’s annoying to see vets advertising it with signs on their yard, knowin...

Re: Natural (God given) immunity is superior

For those who have died of Covid, was "God given" death superior to vaccines? If a vaccine had the death rate associated with just taking your chances, it would never be approved. This is my biggest concern in all of these discussions. It is so uncharacteristic of Mennonites to be so wrap...

Re: Joyful when you suffer

Above all else, you must live in a way that brings honor to the good news about Christ. Then, whether I visit you or not, I will hear that all of you think alike. I will know that you are working together and are struggling side by side to get others to believe the good news. Be brave when you face ...

Re: A year of living.

Yesterday was a rather uneventful day. I moved from bed to desk to living room recliner and back. Napping was my priority. I’m surprised this morning to find how strong I feel for having skipped any exercise and simply rested yesterday. I’ve been writing, formulating lots of things like the relation...

Re: Lyme Disease

Ive had active Lyme three time. My physician has prescribed an antibiotic that I take immediately if I find a deer tick latched on (I used to hike in tick county daily). I’ve taken it three times in the past 4 years and have not had Lymes.

Re: Doctrine of Salvation?

The responses so far have largely been that of Evangelical Protestantism, though the question itself obviously suggests a Theology that is not necessarily related to the word “salvation” (sozo) as was used by Jesus and his witnesses. You obviously mean how one obtains eternal life after death. While...

Re: Natural (God given) immunity is superior

That's what they said in the beginning, but every large study so far has found the opposite to be true. Reinfection risk is statistically 0, even against the delta and other variants. In fact, previous infection is 27x times more protective than recent vaccination (vaccination > 6 mos ago provides ...

Re: Natural (God given) immunity is superior

Most probably will eventually be able to get COVID a second time – usually with similar symptoms to the first time around. That's what they said in the beginning, but every large study so far has found the opposite to be true. Reinfection risk is statistically 0, even against the delta and other va...
