I try not to complain in the first place. Our government could get noticeably worse and still be above average, by my reckoning.

Less than a page into this thread, and we have the beginnings of a debate on Trump's immigration stance. It took a lot of effort for me to refrain from escalating it. These are not good signs.

He also noted that in his view the way to correct moral and other failures in the church is through "right" theology. Moral problems are fixed through theological solutions he said, as almost a direct quote. Unfortunately the fruit of the Lutheran church, (and greater protestant movement)...
