Re: War in Gaza
P.39: If the militants deliberately defy the separation and infiltrate the non-militants (which has been their strategy), then we are just back where we started. And wouldn't self-identifying as a militant be painting a target on your back? Does this justify killing children and bombing churches? F...

Re: Paul Graham - How to Disagree
I have to admit, I agree with Josh. If someone of disreputable character quotes Jesus, that’s not wrong but why not just quote Jesus instead of some random no name I’ve never heard of?

Re: Pilgrim Mennonite Conference current events
I have no religious or personal problem with him, but is it really surprising that Pilgrim is not “holding together” as a group considering how much there actual existence all stems from Stephen being ordained bishop. I know the evolution of the Lebanon district “issues” and despite their validity ...

Wife:my guess is that he’s referring to the prepper/off grid mentality
I actually like the talk. Doesn’t seem to give that vibe to me.
Re: Cameras
Wife: https://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SD880IS-Stabilized-Silver/dp/B001G5ZTN6 Suits our needs, and I bet you could find one that is even better based off the specs, but I like this one. ignore the Amazon price because it’s probably got more to do with lack of availability, and we paid $25 use...
Re: Cameras
I am looking for cameras for our young teenage daughters. I've been out of this world for too long to even know what terms are used now days and what specs I should be looking for. I would like a point-and-shoot with zoom that takes really good pictures. Something used for under $100. Also interest...

Re: Occupations that are uniquely objectionable to Conservative Anabaptists
I'd be happy if they just banned spray paint nationwide. I'm no graffiti artist, but couldn't graffiti be done with a paintbrush almost as easily? A side hustle I have is doing camo paint jobs on various objects and rattle cans are essential for that. Even an air brush would be inefficient. In fact...

Civil war Continued
John posted about a slave Louis Napoleon Nelson. The truth is never quite so simple, A very thorough look at this black man and his history with the confederate army. I’ve looked at these sources and I’m impressed with the details that he dug out and he actually sources these claims. https://civilwa...
