Re: Passing of Joseph Stoll

Do not get your point Solo. I asked a question. I do not think the word “plain” has any real meaning to a Catholic the way the word has important e to a Mennonite, Quaker, or say OOA PERSON. I am fine with anyone calling themselves what they want. On the other hand calling yourself something inappl...

Re: Sattler College Turmoil

Also concerning is the core on why this thread was started. Josh, Ernie, and others missed the key issue. Many of the students at Sattler know this but the real driver of the conflict was the former President Dean Taylor's missteps. He is a classic visionary--he has big ideas but doesn't devote eno...

Re: "The lean years"

In 2007-2008 I was doing a lot of construction work tract/spec builders. When the real estate crash happened they couldn’t pay me. No work left to do either. We struggled around until 2011. Then I closed my business, liquidated my equipment, sold real estate, paid all my supplier debts. My equipment...

Re: Evidence for Evolution

Anyway, science currently says I have evolved from a primordial soup...where that soup came from has yet to be discovered...I also came from fish cuz when I look at my hands, those were formerly fins and had webbing between the fingers. My atheist friend is certain we are from the water, to which I...

http://dataus.net/ss/12-02-1781.png The bottom right selfie has been photoshopped. Cuz the lions' mouths were closed! Maybe that's not Daniel? I assumed that the others were Mose, but perhaps it's not. After all, it is hardly just the famous people today who do selfies - these may depict the common...

Re: War in Gaza

At this point Israel has lost 75 soldiers in Gaza. What if Israel had secured its borders after the attack... (e.g. two rings of tanks around the perimeter of the enclave) and never entered Gaza. My question is, why are they willing to lose this many or more soldiers to "destroy" Hamas wi...

Re: Canadian Mounties use PIT maneuver on John Deere!

You can hear the guy talking in the video saying as the tractor goes by, "He's swerving, hitting the cop car". And I see in a picture, that there are black rubber tire marks from the tractor clear in the back of the cop car. After noticing the rubber marks on the car, and hearing the guys ...

Re: Canadian Mounties use PIT maneuver on John Deere!

It's hard for me to tell if the cop turned into the tractor, or if the tractor turned into the cop. I know that the articles says the cop turned into the tractor, but is that really the case? With the exit there, I wonder if the tractor driver decided to try to take the exit and turned into the cop....

Re: Hymn Singing - My Roots

This year our family sang through the Church Hymnal, which is one of the hymnals that I grew up with. We kept track of which songs we knew, and just sang those. Turns out that we know 47% of them, 311/657. Last year we did the Life Songs, which is another one we grew up with. That one we knew 63%, ...
