Re: Sexual Immorality in 1 Corinthians 6
And if we do sin, even by sexual immorality, sin has it's consequences but God is faithful to forgive us of all sin and give us restored fellowship just as if we never sinned. Right ? I think we'd have to go to a different passage - or set of passages - to answer that. Or do you see an answer in th...

Sin, faith, forgiveness, and repentance
This is a Bible study thread, open to people who believe in simple obedience to Scripture. I would like to request that people in this thread follow these rules: 1. We will focus on passages that directly address the relationship between sin, faith, forgiveness, and repentance. We will use other thr...

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
Turns out that there's a tutorial for a statistics library that uses Google Collab - and one of its examples discusses how to do sound statistical reasoning and how to use their library to do it with data. This example involves excess mortality and Covid-19 in England and Wales! The data is also ava...

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
Ideally, I'd love to have us have this kind of conversation using Jupyter Notebooks or Google Collab or something so that we are closer to the data and can see where our understandings differ. That's harder on MN. But it's an experience worth having. Again comparing charts from ourworldindata isn't...

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
I have no idea. But I do know this: you made a claim. When I asked you to provide evidence for your claim, you did not. Instead, you posted three emotional posts to try to change the subject.
Care to provide evidence for your claim?

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
What I do not see, though, is why that's "highly suspect". Why do you feel this is the wrong approach to take? And what do you think is the right one and why? I assume you're at least literate in statistics? You can use population standardization to show any effect you want. Yes, I would ...

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
The age standardization in that chart is highly suspect. And what exactly do you mean by "the age standardization in that chart is highly suspect"? What exactly is wrong with it, how do you think it was computed, what do you think the correct standardization should be? And FWIW, why do yo...

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
If you dig into the data just a little bit , it's rather obvious that the vaccines are unsafe, and not working well. I don't believe you. The reason I don't believe you is that I have, in fact, dug into the data just a little bit. Another reason that I do not believe you: when I look at scientific ...

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
That's not true, I think vaccination is correlated with higher death rates. This is obvious in the UK data. What data are you looking at? When I looked this up, I found things that look like this: https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/england-covid-19-mortality-rate-by-vaccination-status?country=~All+...
