Re: Prayer Requests & Personal Testimonies

I'm requesting prayers for a sister in Christ named Angelina. She had the flu about a month ago, but has had several complications, and her health is very fragile right now. Please pray for her and her family; she still has young children at home.

Re: Helping Venezuela

At this point the government there is not receptive to aid. The best thing any of us can do is if you know someone still managing to live there, ask them what would help. The last person I spoke to who lives there said it’s too hard to get anything in or out and that even money doesn’t help at this...

Re: Conservative Anabaptist Church Finder & Information

One other question, I became aware a few months ago of Lakeside Mennonite Church in Checotah, OK. Does anyone know anything about them?

Re: Conservative Anabaptist Church Finder & Information

My in-laws, who live in the Tulsa, OK area, found a tract on their car windshield from the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite today. Is there a Mennonite church in Tulsa? Or is it a common practice to travel to a distant town and put tracts on cars in parking lots? The whole family is wondering.

Re: omnium-gatherum part deux

T1,

Praying for your daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. It's so hard to raise children in the faith without a strong church.

Helping Venezuela

I've been hearing reports of how bad things are in Venezuela. Are there any reputable relief agencies operating in the country right now, preferably CA/CM?

Re: omnium-gatherum part deux

T1,

It is distressing to hear what your granddaughter is being exposed to. What do your daughter and son-in-law think about the situation?

When I saw this headline, I thought it was from the Onion. But it's from NPR. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2018/01/24/580228837/a-dozen-camels-disqualified-from-saudi-beauty-pageant-over-botox-injections "Some pageant contestants hit a hump in the road this week. That is, a camel bea...
