On Human Dignity

I know some are interested in the doctrines of other fellowships (as am I). A declaration was made by the Vatican today. This Vatican document on human dignity condemns gender transition, surrogacy, abortion, human trafficking, euthanasia, violence against individuals, war, marginalization of people...

Re: I think it is funny

I live my life with no regrets. It is one of the benefits of not being able to remember things.

Preparation for Baptism

In Anabaptist World, what kind of methods are used to prepare individuals for baptism? E.g. some Hutterian communities have 2 months of classes and use a written catechism that the individuals study and memorise.

Is that the method used in your fellowship? Or is there another method?

Discipline comes from within the individual himself. One can be...

Re: Questions about Communion / Lord's Supper

You could have included the link to that, you know. https://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P7N.HTM But my question was a historical one concerning when the universal requirement was instituted. The catechism does not appear to address that. Elementary, my dear Watson. Follow the footnotes. Happy ...

Re: Article: Why Russian separatists called an exorcist when they discovered a Ukrainian POW was an evangelical Christia

A Ukrainian soldier said he was tortured by Russian separatists and forced to undergo an exorcism, partly because of his evangelical Christian faith. Viktor Cherniiavskyi is now a first-person view (FPV) drone pilot, but he said he was a chaplain to evangelical Christians in the Ukrainian army in 2...

I also don’t think being autistic or ADHD is an excuse for being rude, unkind, or behaving in socially inappropriate manners.
I don't think we should use such things as an excuse for bad behavior. That I agree with.
Likewise.
