Re: Give to him who asks..
I think it is pertinent to this discussion that Jesus once left one village for another because the citizens were only interested in his miracles of healing etc. and not his message. I don't know that we have any record of Jesus giving money, but his gifts of physical healing and raising from the de...

Re: What was Eve to Adam? re: "helpmeet" (KJV)
Thank y'all for addressing this very important issue. Occasionally I will thank Mr. Sunbeam for helping me with my work. It is not uncommon for him to to say, "Girl, I am not helping you with your work. It's all my work. Everything you do is helping me with mine." I don't know if his ...

I think we know this poster. http://dataus.net/ss/08-11-240.png A pretty low percentage of current posters knows her now. When she opens the door and looks around, the faces she sees are new and the looks she gets are mostly blank. People say polite things, and smile with their lips, but their eyes...

This makes me really sad.QuietObserver wrote:This looks like material for a Babylon Bee satire piece. For example, we have an extended family member who will not allow his wife to buy all-purpose flour, only self-rising, so her pie crust is really strange.

From Psalms
He turned rivers into a desert,
flowing streams into thirsty ground,
and fruitful land into a salt waste,
because of the wickedness of those who lived there.

My wife, Meg, has been dealing with delusions and suicidal thoughts. The doctor prescribed an antipsychotic. It's hard on both of us, but we have some supportive friends. I am so sorry. That would be very scary and unsettling. Dear Lord, I pray tonight for JimFoxvox's wife. Bless her with your pres...
