I love to send cards to folks for all occasions but especially for those who need encouragement and I make 99% of my cards which I enjoy doing- doing in on the computer and print them. I do send a letter occasionally to someone who doesn't have access to a computer but tend to email or text 'letters...

Interesting to note- in this area we have several different congregations in the different denominations. We have the 'wealthier' episcopal church and the one where the less wealthy attend. Our library will give you a running total of money you saved by borrowing books vs buying them. Sure it is hardback prices but interesting to see. They give a yearly total and lifetime of your card total
