The Israeli state?
Agree or disagree?"Political Zionism and Christian Zionism are anathema to Christian faith ... The true Israel today is neither Jews nor Israelis, but believers in the Messiah, even if they are Gentiles ..."

Re: War in Gaza
Thinking killing people helps solve the problem of people killing people is like thinking that the answer to rape is more raping to ensure the raping stops. It's a fools errand. You can't drive out darkness with darkness...only light. Only love and forgiveness can stop the killing. This latest war o...

Re: Churches, Dealerships, and Franchises
If no culture is better than another culture, then it's not accurate to use the word "culture" to describe a lifestyle formed by intentional choices to live according to God's will. Right...though I think the term "God's will" needs some elucidating. Is the straight cut coat say...

Re: Churches, Dealerships, and Franchises
Ernie, I'm not ready to say it's good or bad but I am pointing out it's not "staying the same" from a philosophical viewpoint and that shift likely has repercussions that should be considered as well. Yes, I will be quick to say that there are some really negative repercussions. However, ...

Re: Churches, Dealerships, and Franchises
A few notes on clothing. I had a friend once that scoffed at the idea of a "suit off a rack" that was mass produced. Too plebian... I had another friend once, NMB, who felt that "dressing up for church" with suits, and dress pants, and white shirts, and such was an extravagant cu...
