Re: Natural (God given) immunity is superior

It is simply beyond me to understand the logic behind those suggesting that I obtain "natural immunity" rather than obtain the vaccine. Think about it. "Natural Immunity" means getting the disease and risking death- why? What value is the to God and His Kingdom to risk death unne...

Re: Prayer Requests & Personal Testimonies

Pray that my liver, kidney and other organ functions can be restored to sufficient health to allow a resumption of my life giving chemotherapy. And pray for God's direct intervention now to restore my health so that I can at least enjoy my last days in the joy and delight of the presence of my famil...

Re: A year of living.

I was released from the hospital last Saturday in pretty good shape. The plan then was to get to the Thomas Point Bluegrass Music festival. I’ll defer that story for now. There’s a lot to write about my family’s activities and relationship to that event. The Outpatient procedure to install my new po...

Re: Prayer Requests & Personal Testimonies

I'm doing well tonight. They remove 1.2 liters of fluid from around my right lung and will do the same procedure tomorrow for my left. I can breathe again!

Re: Poll: Personal Coronavirus Permanent Impact

Bring one of the most vulnerable, I have to take extra precautions. I doubt I’ll be hospitalized for Covid, especially thanks to the vaccine (I’m due for my third shot and have been tested and have a good antibody load already)

I intend to die of cancer not Covid!

Re: Doctrine of Salvation?

Seems some want to present the 'Good News of Jesus' in a way that could scare those listening away as the demands to live a righteous life are overwhelming to a non-believer to be saved. Not really 'good news' but rather 'bad news' to an unbeliever who does not think they could possibly live this w...

Re: Doctrine of Salvation?

When it comes to obedience I think it is very selective in most Anabaptist churches. We all are drawing the line and saying this was just said to that audience and this was to all believers. The Great Commission is one of these. If total obedience is required to be saved, then none of us qualify. C...

Re: Doctrine of Salvation?

This is from Brother Glenn Roseberry, a missionary in Tanzania who explicitly preaches the Good News of the Kingdom rather than trying to “save” people. He disciples them, including caring for the sick and the widows. I consider him an Apostle in the truest sense of the word; ————————- Mystery solve...

Re: Doctrine of Salvation?

Jesus first used the term "born again" - 'Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.' Then He went on to explain this term to Nicodemus who was confused by the term - John 3. Jesus used the term born aga...
