Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?

1. I think courts are the proper forum to determine the meaning of constitutional provisions and not Congress. The Court's primary role is to interpret the Constitution, including clarifying the extent and limits of the powers and duties assigned to different branches of government, including Congr...

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?

And you are mostly giving reasons you wish that would happen? I disagree with the Supreme Court punting on this issue. I think that was a partis...

Any evidence that this is true? Something we can look at? He makes a lot of very concrete claims. Should be easy to show the proof if they are true. He says he actually looked at the evidence.

The operation in Iraq was much larger scale. Of course, it didn’t work in the long run.

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?

Now lets get back on topic. Could you please clarify what the topic is, and what is on or off topic? A few pages back, I suggested that the topic of this thread is "Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?", which the Supreme Court seems to have settled. Is that the topi...

Re: Paul Graham - How to Disagree

I don’t think pointing out someone is of poor character is “as hominem”. Basically. I don’t think people of poor character and with a fundamentally anti-Christian worldview are the right place to go for either the truth or facts. Actually, I think this the very definition of "ad hominem"....

Re: Paul Graham - How to Disagree

But I think there's a deep skepticism that facts exist at all. I think absolute truth exists and is embodied in Jesus, the Logos. I also think “facts” exist as a subset of this. I agree with you about truth from a biblical perspective. But I think the Bible also talks about false witness and gossip...
