Re: HPV and Cancer link
For the sake of curiosity, if a CA happens to be in a job in which health insurance is one of the provided benefits. Do they refuse to sign up and accept it? Even if it is paid for? I have refused to sign up. I know of some others too at the same company who didn’t. It is mixed. Some do some don’t....

Re: HPV and Cancer link
We have always paid out of pocket for them. We go to the County Health Department and they have always been very low cost for our vaccinations. That is where I went to get my Covid shot. I think it is cheaper than going to a family doctor. Cost has never been voiced as a reason for not getting vacci...

I excluded suicides which are the majority of gun deaths in the US. I don't really consider suicides to be an issue specifically related to gun safety. There are lots of easy ways to kill yourself including pills. Right, got it. But also- It is appropriate to use all gun deaths not just murders bec...

Re: Revival Meetings in Evangelical/Mainline Anabaptist
Would you agree with me that by the middle of the 20th century revival meetings had become well accepted among nearly all Mennonite churches other than the old-order groups, and that the first churches to see revival meetings go were in most cases not the same churches that were most reluctant to a...

Re: Marrying Someone With a Promiscuous Past
How would they know? Goodness, if you have this hidden, you for sure will not find anyone willing to marry you here. There is a certain level of openness and honesty expected. I guess you could just lie. But if anyone finds out, then you’re done. In my circle, if a guy was known to have ever had pre...

Re: War in Gaza
Great powerful countries simply don’t have the need as much for these international organizations as much as small countries do. For the powerful, may be that the downsides outweigh the upside.

Re: HPV and Cancer link
The risk of HPV is not to you. the risk is to your children over the course of their lifetimes. Some facts to consider: 1 in 6 women in the US experience rape or attempted rape in their lifetimes which equates to 17% 80% of the adult population in the US has been exposed to the HPV virus The likeli...

Re: HPV and Cancer link
I will dismiss the "barefoot " part, if there is broken glass around it would drive a decision. My children were never around firearms, only a very small minority of people in our fair city have them, and they are concentrated in certain areas. How little you actually know about this plac...

Re: HPV and Cancer link
I would not be so sure of calling it an STD. Just saying. And if you think it is your place to punish sin by withholding treatment, why stop here? There are hoards of sinners that need to be punished. Maybe denying pain relief to unwed mothers? It has been done, before it was outlawed. To know to d...
