Re: Evolution

Dan, Josh, Wayne, whoever- In Judges 1:4 it says that Judah slew ten thousand men in Bezek. There are people who would believe that exactly 10,000 men were killed, not 10,001 or 9,999. But most people I presume read this as a round number and do not make it a litmus test of ones Christianity. Maybe ...

Re: Evolution

Look what else has been thoroughly disproven by science.
Young earth
Jesus resurrection

I'm for globalization as a rule. Sure its not perfect. Only looking at our imports isn't complete. Our small family company sells US grown agricultural products to 30+ countries. We also trade agricultural products from South America to Europe and from New Zealand/Australia to Asia. As far as I know...

RZeher: Also, I don't have a high level of trust that another program won't be susceptible to graft, bribes, kickbacks etc. My expectation is that the graft in a large federal program will equal the amount that is currently being lost/misused/sold at the individual level. At least now when someone ...

Re: Trump Budget Swaps Food Stamps for '100 Percent American' Food

I thought you had claimed that 50-60% of SNAP spending is fraudulent and goes to alcohol and such, and that's not what this article is saying. I'm hearing a few people guess that it must be that high, but I suspect that's based on very little data. Who is saying that? I think what people are saying...
