AP Video: How to Read Revelation & Avoid the Mark of the Beast
I really like how Paul Lamicela explains this. I believe it makes so much sense and is so coherent with Anabaptist theology.

Re: Poll: Who will win 2024 Presidency?
I didn't vote in this poll/thread because I don't know who will win. And for the record, I don't know which one would be the best/worst for this country, so I have no incentive to vote in this poll/thread for that reason either. The thread asked Who will win, but the poll asks Who do you think will...

Switching it up.
I thought in the past Presidents helped raise money and campaigned for down ballot party races. Money running upstream this time.Trump to GOP campaigns: If you use my name to raise money, I want a 5% cut

Re: Russia Invades Ukraine 2022
If Russia takes more of Europe, and the Middle East does what they do, and Turkey takes islands from Greece, and China takes Taiwan, and Japan takes the four islands in the Northern Territories from Russia - President Donald Trump will probably just take Greenland.

Re: Sattler College Turmoil
The closest I’ve heard him refer to baptism in this way was with a bit of uncertainty. He seemed to remain open to the idea that Mennonite pouring baptism as possibly valid, but that it may not be. And that he was going to leave it for God to judge. But that clearly immersion was the right way. This...

Re: Sattler College Turmoil
“Plain people, Amish and Mennonites are so close to the truth, yet almost none of them are saved [referring to baptism by pouring]. If we are able to get more church plants going, perhaps we could save a few of them.” FotW’s founders see themselves as delivering salvation (notable is that they term...

Re: 2/3 of Roman Catholic Churches in Baltimore to close
Yep. Catholics have a liberal wing and a not-liberal wing. The liberal wing is busy doing everything they can to destroy local church attendance, turn a blind eye to molestation conditions (such as promoting homosexuality in the priesthood), voting themselves larger salaries, and being busy selling...

My skepticism about Sattler is based on my knowledge of the actual economics of higher education and small private colleges in this country. Even many institutions that own all their land, have facilities and infrastructure long paid for, a deep alumni base, and the support of a denomination are of...

…And if the child is older and does have an idea of the subject and is out looking for information… my opinion would be the dry, matter of fact encyclopedic tone is probably about the best option you could hope for for them to turn to. True. Much to my younger self’s disappointment. Seems to me tha...
