Re: Morals & ethics behind supporting certain mission efforts?

Kensington is indeed pretty horrible, although there are some (liberal) Mennonite groups trying to engage in church planting and other social services efforts there, like an Everence branch, in partnership with the community clinic there that opened as a sort of "public space" (except priv...

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?

As Trump was engaged in insurrection, it behooves Congress to act. Re: Distinguishing Mountains from Molehills

Re: Paul Graham - How to Disagree

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?

That is obviously what the trials are for and why we need to hold them. Or do you think that Trump is uniquely above the law? If these “felonies” were so serious perhaps they should have been prosecuted before 2016. So like the movie Minority Report. Use a time machine to see into the future and th...

Re: Distinguishing Mountains from Molehills

But hatred toward another is murdering them in our heart which is always wrong. Hatred is always wrong, because it is murdering them in our heart. But literal, physical, murder is sometimes not wrong. What a strange and confusing thing indeed. I would guess the logic is the State has authority from...

Re: Is Trump legally qualified to be a presidential candidate?

Or maybe what is dangerous to democracy is nominating a habitual criminal to the highest office in the form of Trump. Who not only does not respect democracy, but seeks to undermine it. Most normal candidates (including every other Republican candidate) don't have any difficulty avoiding committing...

Re: Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse

California has had one party rule for a while, yet infrastructure projects there seem to be very slow and take forever. One of the most notorious examples is the abortive “High Speed Rail” which is billions over budget, years late, and so far only has firm plans to run between Bakersfield and Merce...
