Re: War in Gaza

P.39: I think there could have been more separation between the militants and non-militants. If the militants deliberately defy the separation and infiltrate the non-militants (which has been their strategy), then we are just back where we started. And wouldn't self-identifying as a militant be pai...

Re: War in Gaza

Muslims don’t forgive either - so what happens next? Endless feuds and war forever?

More importantly, why does America need to be funding this to the tune of billions of dollars?

Re: Paul Graham - How to Disagree

Is there somewhere Jesus tells us to do what Paul Graham teaches? No. But some of these levels are Paul Graham telling us to do the same things Jesus teaches. Particularly at the name calling level. Re: Pilgrim Mennonite Conference current events

Israel fires two officers after finding grave errors in strike on aid workers https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israel-dismiss-two-officers-after-finding-mistakes-strike-aid-workers-2024-04-05/ This doesn’t change the fact the Israeli government has a regular patter of killing aid workers a...

Re: War in Gaza

Israel isn’t interested in “negotiating with terrorists,” which was once SOP/Standard Operating Procedure, thought to be necessary to prevent terrorism. Why does this not apply to Hamas? If you want a ceasefire, you have to negotiate. Israel has killed a lot more civilians than Hamas has. Israel’s ...

Re: War in Gaza

The operation in Iraq was much larger scale. Of course, it didn’t work in the long run. How are you measuring scale? Air drops of food. Sending ships across the Atlantic to build a pier. Etc. The operation in Iraq saw many ships sent over along with massive airlifts in many large cargo planes.

News is reporting that Hamas has accepted a ceasefire proposal: https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-gaza-hamas-war-humanitarian-aid-8659eae6e0a7362504f0aa4aa4be53e0 And that Israel and Netanyahu are the obstacles and announcing their rejection of a ceasefire. I'm curious to see if intern...
